Chapter 6:

Ann walked to the storage room and took out the mop, she mopped, dust, clean the toilets, then headed into his room for his clothes, she took a deep breath and slowly opened his door, his room was sparkly cleaned, she looked all over for the dirty clothes, she opened the closet and found the bucket “Ugh... smells like it was dunk into a lake of beer” she grabbed the basket, but the picture of the other side of the bedroom caught her eyes. Ann took the basket along with her to the other side and set it down. She picked up the picture frame of him with his parents laughing,it was almost like her picture, she smiled, for awhile staring at his cute smile.


“Ann...” Ken yelled opening the door, she was shocked and dropped the picture on the floor making it to shatter in to pieces, she hurriedly bent down to pick up the pieces, he ran to her and yelled

Ken: Look what you did! -Pushes Ann out of the way-
Ann: I was just looking at the picture but you scared me!
Ken:This is already the second time you keep touching my stuff!
Ann: It was just there! I didn’t try to break it!
Ken: You have eyes! Why not use them to look! Get Out!


Ann got up and walked out slamming the door behind her, she looked back then noticed the knob...”blood” she looked at her hand it had a deep cut. She went into the bathroom in the guest room and washed it off her hand , she wiped the door knob. Ken came out and grabbed her arms to the living room, “what kind of a maid are you?!” he yelled, she looked down with guilt. “I’ve told you many times to stop invading my privacy!!” she looked up at him then yelled back “I just want to see the smile of yours!....... Wishing you’ll find it again!” he was surprised he looked at her “...And you think you’re powerful enough to bring it back!?”

Ann: I will try whatever it takes
Ken: Nonsense! -walks away-
Ann: I really don’t want to see you bully others to relieve your pain! I know how it feels, to loose both Mae......and Po...


Ken stopped, then walked away into his room. His tears started falling, picking up the picture with the shattered frame. Ann walked to the kitchen and looked at the groceries, her hand was still hurting, she packed the food in the fridge and sat on the couch, looking at the magazine of Ken’s “this p’ek only bought magazines about him.” The scandal wrote “Ken Theeradeth and Chompoo Araya flirting off and on screen” She opened it and read, before she knew it, she read almost all 80 magazines.


Ken stayed in his room laying down thinking, he slowly closed his eyes

“I really don’t want to see you bully others to relieve your pain! I know how it feels, to loose both Mae and Po...”

12 am and Ken woke up rubbing his eyes, he looked at his wristwatch, then looked out through the glass door, it was very dark, able to see the beautiful stars, making the pool seems like it was filled with them. He got out of bed and slowly opened his door and looked into her room “where’d she go?” He walked down to the living room,Ann fell asleep on the couch. He kneel down by her, he got up and started walking away, Ken turned and looked at Ann again, noticing the cloth wrapped around her hand, he walked to her and carefully took off the cloth, she had a deep cut “ Hm... you’re strong, you can handle this” He didn’t wanted her to sleep out there, he thought he’ll get lecture for waking her up, he had no choice. He picked her up carrying her to her room, putting her down,he feel on top of her, accidentally pecked her lips,she started groaning, moving, she pushed him away then feel asleep again, he left her lied on the bed sideways, turned off the lights and walked out into his room, and closed the door

Ken in his office.
*On the phone*
Lawan: Ken, I want you and Ann to come Friday night
Ken:Friday night?
Lawan: Yes, I want you two to come, this will be the first time you two are going out in public.
Ken: Lawan, its not just me who makes the decisions, I’ll ask Ann and if she says yes I’ll call you back. -hangs up-

Ann walked in with a cup of coffee.
Ken: How’d you sleep last night.?
Ann: Um..good..But I remember I was sleeping on the couch
she said setting the cup down on his desk
Ken:... What? Yesterday? I didn’t see you there... You probably sleepwalked to bed.
Ann:-scratches head- hm.. I never sleepwalked before.. this is strange..
Ken: Enough about you, Friday night, well be going to an event together.
Ann: What?
Ken: Lawan wants me to give you these orders...
Ann: but..
Ken: but what? You have a date? You’re going!
Ann: , Well okay,.......I’ll go


As Ann left Ken’s phone started ringing he knew it was Lawan
“I asked her.”
“Did you asked her or ordered her?”
“Asked of course, I wouldn’t have cared if she said no.”

Ann was in the kitchen, cleaning then she walked back in
Ann: Ken... I left my phone here on accident, did you happen to see it?
Ken: No
Ann: But someone told me they called and I guy picked up saying I left it at his house
Ken: Probably one of my workers
Ann: Now, why would they called this, their house?
Ken:-stands up- I said I don’t have it! Now leave I have tons of things to do!
Ann stared at him and left out angrily

LAWAN WITH KANYA AND WEET AT COFFEE SHOP

Kanya: You want us two to attend the Wonder Night event?
Weet: Do we both have to go?
Lawan: Yes, why not?
Weet: ..Well...
Kanya: Well go...
She interuppt
Lawan: Well, then thank you,Ken and Ann are coming with me and my family
Kanya: What? Ken’s coming
Weet: and Ann?
Lawan: Well they’re a couple
Kanya: If Ken is co-
Weet: We’ll be there, thanks for inviting me too.
Lawan: No, problem, you two better show up then, I’m going bye...-walks out-

Kanya: why did you say answer yes now?
Weet: You can’t runaway from your problems forever.....
Kanya: I don’t want Ken to disrespect you like that night anymore
Weet: Anybody can disrespect me, but as long as what they say don’t get to our heads, making it to separate us, then I don’t care

Kanya: and as long as we know why we love each other....

Ken walked out of his office and called Ann “Ann!” she was no where to be seen, he looked in the kitchen, her bedroom and check the bathrooms, he walked out the door and saw her making a sand castle, he walked over

Ken: Ann! - Grabs her-
Ann: aye Ken! What now?
Ken: You came here to take care of me and this house! Not to come play in the sand
Ann: -Pulls back- This is my first time getting to play by the sea and make sand castle..
Ken: I don’t care if it’s your first or first in 10 years go wash your hands, I need you to go buy some stuff
Ann: Buy what?
Ann and Ken walked in the house, and Ken showed her the list
Ann: You want me to go buy food?
Ken: I’m sure that’s what it says
Ann: You just bought food yesterday
Ken: I need fish, go to Royal Fish Palace and say you want the fish like me then they’ll know, its going to be raw wrapped very good for you.

Ann: There’s a sea right out there, you do know that right?
Ken: Aye! Stop arguing just go
Ann: But I’m telling you, you can save a lot of money
Ken: You’re acting like I’m going to be poor tomorrow
Ann: but-
Ken: not another word, then go to Mulai, to buy the cilantro and chives, after that go to “Pai’s Shop” to buy the fish sauce the one that is most expensive there

Ann: Are you crazy throwing away money like that?
Ken: My money is not going to be gone just for buying all these, and besides the more expensive the better.

“Here, here ,here. Thank you” She got out of the taxi and went in. She saw the workers and ask to see the manager.

Manager: Hello, I’m Mr.Lee
Ann: Hello..uh.. I want a fish that Ken Theeradeth always get here
Manager: Ah.. Yes... Mr. Ken..... say....have.. we met anywhere?
Ann: Ah.. no... no...
Manager: ...Really.. you’re face looks familiar
When the Manager brought back the fish, she was shocked to know the price. “ Can I use the phone in here please?
Ken: Hello?
Ann: Aye! Are you kidding me, you want an 80,000 baht fish?
Ken: Yes, and you better bring it !
Ann hung up and turn to the manager again she smiled “ I don’t want the fish anymore....” she walked out and said to herself “ I’ll tell you how to save money and get good food,..Mr. Ken.”she smirked. She took the taxi and went to the flee market, there she bought a huge fish, almost the same size as at the other shop for way less, she bought cilantro and chives then headed for home.

Ann: Ken.. Here...
Ken:What is this?
Ann: The food you told me to buy
Ken: Why are they in those kind of bags?
Ann: Uh.. Well... Royal.... uhh..... well the fish place was very busy! So I told them to just put it in this bag - she walks to the kitchen.”

Ken:What about the cilantro and chives?
Ann: Uh....I told them to put it in these bags because they were taking to long with all the..... wrapping? -sets the stuff down-

Ken: What do you mean, they use those kind of bags too. Ok.. Whatever I’m getting more confuse every time you answer. Wait.. where’s the sauce

Ann: They ran out?
Ken: Really? I knew Pai would get lots of profits if i bought it

Ken and Ann went outside starting to grill the fish, before they knew it the sun was was already setting they sat down, he walked over and played a song on the stereo, asking Ann for a dance. She looked at him shyly and reached out her hand, she put her arms on his shoulder, and he held her waist lightly.He looked into her eyes and smiled lightly, they both paused, he leaned closer to her, closing his eyes, Ann stared at him, she don’t know why but she wanted to lean forward too. Closer... Closer....Ann couldn’t do it, she doesn’t want to fall, but why was it to hard trying to pull back from Ken. She stepped away, and Ken opened his eyes. Scratching her head nervously, “Its getting dark we should clean up.” Ken nodded and they walked to the table, it was getting awkward, he looked at her cleaning. “I’m going in first.” Ken said and walked in. She cleaned up everything and went inside.


Ann came in, while Ken was just reading
Ann: If there’s nothing else to do, I’m going to take a shower
Ken: -puts down the magazine- I’m going to go take a shower too.
After Ann was done, she got out of the bathroom and picked up her dirty laundry. Ann walked out into the hallway and knocked on his door, he opened, and Ann handed him the left over money.

Ken: What is it -walks to living room-
Ann:-follows- Uh.. I didn’t go to the places you wanted me to go to buy the food and all.
She closed her eyes tightly, ready for a lecture. Ken lift up her chin and smiled, she slowly opened one eye at a time.
Ann: Why aren’t you yelling at me?
Ken: You think I’m stupid? -laughs-
Ann: No... it’s just that...
Ken: I’m not stupid I knew all along
Ann: Then why did you....
Ken: It taste better like this though
Ann: Really? Yes!
Ken: Maybe.....cause usually I eat all alone.
Ann looked at him “ Well, I’m going to bed, if you need me, call my name” she walked to her bedroom and closed the door.

It was Friday, Ann was cleaning up the kitchen
Ken: Ann! Lets go!
Ann: Where?
Ken: C’mon -grabs her arm-
He took her to his car “I asked where we’re going” He didn’t answer and drove off. When they arrived Ken opened her door for her and dragged her out, pulling her arm. As they got in everyone was looking at them “ You guys know what to do.” He pushed her to them and sat on the chair. They took Ann in and made her sit, they gave her a manicure, fixed her hair and did all her makeup. Ann had a luxurious white dress flowing down. Its already been 3 hours, Ken was in his tux, Ann walked out “ Ken?” He looked up and smiled with a warm feeling , getting up.

When Ann and Ken arrived, she held his arm and nervously walked in “You’ve done this before” Ken said looking at her.The press all took pictures of them, Ann and Ken smiled. They walked in the beautiful and huge event, Aj looked by the entrance and finally saw Ann, they towards him

Aj: Ann?
Ken: Where’s Fah?
Aj: -interupts-Oh! There’s Weet and Kanya!
Ken: What? -turns and sees them-
Kanya&Weet walked to Ken them,
Kanya: You look beautiful Ann!
Ann: Thanks you too Kanya
Aj: Ann and Weet lets go get food
Weet/Ann: We should!
Ann: Ken and Kanya ka... you two stay here
The three walked away to the table with food and wine.
Kanya: How you been little brother.
Ken: And you care cause?
Kanya: ….(Breathes in and rolls eyes) Well...
Ken: What?
Kanya: I.....I’m sorry about the newspaper thing
Ken: I don’t care...
Kanya: But... Ken... I want you to know I won’t ever leave you.... just cause I’ve found love..... I won’t love Weet as much as I love you, little brother....

Ken: Is this all?
Kanya: and I’m sorry about not respecting Your......M......... about not respecting “Our” mom

Ken looked at her then at the stage...”I guess Weet isn’t that bad at all too..” Kanya looked and smiled “Really? You accept him?” Ken looked at her again “But if he hurts you one bit... I will hunt him down.” They walked to Ann and Ken held her hand “What Ken?” she said trying to move her hand, “Stay put, we’re a “couple” tonight” He looked at Weet and offered a hand shake “ Ken...” Weet looked then shook his hand, smiling with Ann Aj, and Kanya, her love cup was over flowing.Then Lawan walked over.

Lawan: You two made it, Ann and your dress is very beautiful
Ann: Thank you, Lawan.
Lawan: Oh, Ken guess what too.
Ken: What?
Lawan: Turns out you have a lakorn, in 6 months
Ken: So... that’s long
Lawan: But meet the actress.

The actress turned around, Ann didn’t know her, but seems like she seen this girl before. Kanya looked at her like she didn’t like the actress.
Lawan: Ken, you two met...
Ken: Oh, Its you Chompoo...

Aj returned to his office, and Ann had to go help Ken. She got into the elevator, and went to the tenth floor, while
Ken was just standing by the window looking at the view.

Ken: Why are you coming up so late?!
Ann: It’s a Saturday, i don’t have to be on-time
Ken: ....Whatever... what are you doing tonight?
Ann: Why?
Ken: I’m taking you out.
Ann: I’m busy
Ken: Doing what?
Ann: … Hey, i don’t care ‘bout what you do....
Ken: …. Cancel him...
Ann: What.....? Why are you so sure its a guy?
Ken: its so obvious
Ann:Well I’m not going to cancel
Ken’s phone starts ringing, it was Fah wanting to have lunch with him.
Ken: -smiles- never mind I’m going out too.


Ann looked at him and shrugged. She walked out to find AJ, he was standing by the door waiting for her. “Lets go.” he said as he walked to his car and opened the door for her. Ken up in the company, getting ready he went back to looking at the window , while looking down, he smiled evilly “That’s who she’s going with.”

--In the car--
Ann: So.... where are we going for lunch?
AJ: My house
Ann: …. Who lives with you?
Aj: Parents and sister

Ann: -( Looks at his house, shocked)This is you’re house? Its huge
Aj: Its small compare to Ken’s house.
Ann: I’m happy to be meeting your family.
They walked in, AJ saw his Dad and introduced Ann to him, then he gave her a tour of the mansion They went back to the dining room. , and took a seat. Ann sat quietly,as Aj went and got his parents to the table, she was shocked when she saw Lawan walked in

AJ: Ann, this is my mom
Ann: What? Lawan? is your mom?
Lawan: You’re Aj’s date ?
Chai: (the dad) She works for you two?
Ann: Actually I work for Ken.
Chai: Intelligent man..
????: Sawadee Ka Aunt Lawan, and Uncle Chai
Ann and AJ knew that voice, they turned around and there Ken was, standing next to Fah. Ken smiled “Glad meeting you two here.” Ann rolled her eyes, having a headache

Fah: Ann?
Ann: ...What are you doing here?
Fah:-smiles- I was just bout to ask you the same question.... Well this is my house
Ann:.....So that means.... You’re his sister, and....... her daughter?
Fah: Yes, you’re my brothers date?
Ann: -nods-
Ken was getting pissed, “Are you guys done, Yes the three of them are related, Lawan is also my Aunt, not a big deal?! I’m hungry” He sat on the seat right across from Ann. Aj and Ann

They walked into the kitchen

Ann walked back to the dining room. They laughed and talked through Lunch, Ann never seen Ken so happy, and Ken never seen Ann so happy too. She never seen this side of him, but she was glad to find out he could be happy at times too.

Aj: Sorry Ann, won’t be able to send you home, i have to go now.
Ann: Oh, Its okay, I can take a cab

--Aj walks out and leaves, Ann got her stuff and walked out, with Ken
Ken: -smiles pulls Ann’s arms- I can take you, no worries

Ken went and hold her on her waist “What are you doing?!” Ann screamed, Ken smiled and held her tighter “Go with me.” Ann tried to escape his arms, moving and tugging away “Let GO!” Ken moved his face closer to her cheeks “Let go! I’ll go!” Ken released her, she was mad and got in the car instantly, “That jerk!” She breathed out heavily, Ken laughed and got in, he moved closer to Ann and so she pushed her head away.

Ken: Where do you live?
Ann: why would you offer to take me if you don’t know where I live?
Ken: Hey! Just answer I don’t want to pick up a fight
Ann: Neither do I
Ken: Then tell me
Ann: Just let me off here.

Ann walked into the yard, madly,and grabbed the undelivered mail from the mail box, she went inside
Ann: Aunties! I’m home!-Puts mails down-
Susan:Honey.
Sarah: Back?

Sarah: Want some coffee

Ann went up stairs to change, all of a sudden, the sound of something smashed scared Ann,she went downstairs and saw Susan holding the newspaper....with Ken and her on the front page, Sarah looked at her

Sarah:.... Why didn’t you tell us.
Ann: ...I... I... I can’t explain
Susan whispered “Kavi.”
Ann: what?
Sarah: Kavi
Ann: Kavi? What are you talking about?

Security: What is she like?
Weet: She’s sweet, but strong, she loves and care for her family, hates conceited people, she has a beautiful heart...

Security: Why?

Aran: So!
Kanya walks in, making Weet and Aran forget what they were saying. “Weet?” she said sweetly “Its your break time right?” Weet was confused, ”not ‘till 10:00”, she went and grabbed his arms.

Kanya: Lets go

Kanya: I’ll tell Aj later, C’mon
Weet walked quickly with her

Kanya took Weet to a very fancy restaurant.
Weet: i can’t go in!
Kanya: Why

Kanya: Yes, now lets go.
Weet felt awkward, he have never went to a fancy restaurant, he was poor guy in a security uniform with one of the top models. They went and sat down, he looked at the menu and got nervous,

Weet: This is so expensive
Kanya: My treat
Weet: no... I’m the guy.
Kanya: I’ll be the guy today.
Weet: That’s crazy talk!
Everyone was taking picture and looking at them.The waiter came and took their order, Kanya’s order cost about $600,
Waiter: and what would you want?
Weet: Is their Ramen noodles?
waiter: --Thinking WTF---- no, we don’t
Weet: Then I like the bread
Kanya : Weet...
Weet: Yes that’s all
Waiter leaves
Kanya: why did you only order those
Weet:Well I don’t want you to pay! If I can’t take care of someone i.....love.. I can’t be with them
Kanya was amazed no one cared for her like this, she got up and placed her arms around his neck, she leaned over and closed her eyes.

Ann: Aye! Weet! -shocked-

Weet walked outside of his house, reporters all around swarmed him.
Reporter: How long did you two dated?
Weet: Sorry, I have to go.
Weet was annoyed by all the nosy reporters, he ran back inside and locked the door.
Weet: What the!!
Phone rings-- It was Ann, telling him to turn to channel 3, it was Kanya giving out an interview.

Kanya: Well one day I was walking into my friends company, yes he was a security by the door. He caught my attention, later he showed up at my door, that’s all I’m saying, but I love him for how real he was, other guys would drool or run after me but he was so honest to me and calm.

Press: Well, how do you not know, he’s like all the other guys

Kanya: -smiles- When I look into his eyes I see warmth. I just have a feeling


Her words made Weet fall for her more. He smiled, and that was all he did after that.

Ken: Who is this guy kissing my sister?! and Since when did she come back from the states too?!
Aj: -Looks at the paper- I believe its, who’s the guy your sister’s kissing
Ken: I’m serious
Aj: Calm down, she’s older than you.
Ken: She’s all I have left, what do you expect? Now every one’s just going to leave me huh? Get someone to find out who he is.
- looks at the paper again-

Aj: Like who?
Ken: Wait. I think I’ve seen him before.
Aj: With?
Ken:... With... With.....I can’t remember! I’m going to call her

Ken: Je(Older Sister) Why are you on the front page?
Kanya: ..Well..
Ken: And since you return you went out to date and never came to see me?

Ken: Kanya! Kanya! Ugh! -throws phone across the room!-
When Kanya hung up, tears fell down her cheeks, “ sorry brother.’

Ann: WHAT?!! Why are you going to New York with Susan?
Sarah: I have to.
Ann: No, who’s going to stay with me?
Sarah: I’m so sorry but I’m just going for a week or so
Ann: But why?
Sarah: I can’t say.
Ann: And why tonight?
Sarah: Its an emergency -starts crying- I have to go
Ann: -Cries- I can’t even get off work to come say bye.
Sarah: Honey. I’m not staying there
Ann: I know but....
Sarah: Ok, Susan and I love you so much! I have to go I’ll call you when I’m off the plane.
Ann: I LOVE You guys too, remember to call
She hung up and went to Ken’s room “ Mae, Po, Susan, Sarah, all left me.” she sighed
Ann: Ken?
Ken: what! What do you want now?
Ann: Sorry, I’ll go back down then?
Ken went and stopped her.
Ken: What did you want?
Ann: Nothing I’m having a bad day

Ken smiled and walked out, so all Ann did was sat on the couch.

Ken walked in and saw that Ann was asleep “Already asleep?” He sat on the floor besides her, and gazed at her face, he moved her bangs gently out of her face and smiled........ “What am I thinking?” He got up and walked out again. Ann opened her eyes and looked at the door. She moved her bangs out of her face again and smiled, she walked out,where Ken was standing outside the room, with his hand in his pockets pacing around.

Ken: Woke up already?
Ann: Yes
Ken: Who told you to sleep?
Ann: Sorry but you went so long.
Ken:(Holds Ann’s hand) Lets go
Ann: what where?
Ken:C’mon lets go
He dragged Ann outside to his car. “Where are we going?” Ann said while Ken was putting her seat belt on, ”I can do it myself” Ken grinned and looked at her “I don’t trust you, you might run away from me.”

Ken: I’ll let you know when we get there.
He got in the car and they drove off. As they got there Ken parked by the curb and got out, he went and opened Ann’s door for her.

Ann: Where’ is this?
Ken: Samba Sea, never heard of it?
Ann: We have a sea called that?
Ken: Come on out. (Pulls Ann)
Ann: (Ken lets go) Okay, Okay, why are we here?
He ignored her and walked closer to the sea. Ann followed him as he sat down on the sand with his suit, everyone was gone, and she wondered why.

Ann: -sits by him- Now are you going to tell me?

Ann: Just..... well.... i don’t know.. I guess.. cause my aunts left..... to New York....

His words hit Ann, Ken wants to see Susan, but now Susan doesn’t want to see him, so she kept quiet.

Ken: I don’t know, she left me and my dad in Thailand and later I moved here to Bangkok..... But this use to be our favorite place....I remember when I had something bad going on, we would come to this place and look out into the sea.

Ann: She’s in California
Ken: Is everyone of your family in the U.S?
Ann: Yea... Now i’m alone.
Ken: I haven’t seen my mom for 5 years

Ken: Very. I mean she left me and my dad, for 5 years.
Ann: What if she had her reasons
Ken: -shrugs- If she told me,i would’ve understand.

Ken looked at her and got up, Ann stood up and looked at him “am I not wrong, see you already misunderstood again.” They started walking and talking

Just like you, you’re like others you say want to know but instead you don’t try to really find the one who I really am! When she left all my Dad did was get drunk! Ann: Your dad passed away?

Ann: What makes you so sure I’m like the others. You don’t know what I been through in my life! Ann’s jaw dropped, she quickly closed her curtains.”Ken!” She quickly got ready and walked outside and faked her smile,, everyone moved back, Ken grinned “C’mon my love lets go” he opened the door for Ann and she got in. Ken smiled to his fans and excused himself.

Ann: You’re so annoying!

Lawan walks out and looks for them, “You guys, come in.” All of them dropped their conversation and went in unhappily. Everyone sat down, “Ann, you’re going to be Ken’s maid, which means we won’t see you here at the company anymore.”

Ann: Why all of the sudden?
Lawan: Well Ken told me your Aunt is away.
Ann: Only for a week......or so....
Lawan: It’s not just your job to take care of Ken, we have to make sure nothing bad happens to you too.
Ken: You signed the contract, you follow our rules.
Lawan: Its a great way to earn money and this will make both of your relationship look more real. You don’t have to do it for five months, just ‘till you aunt returns.

She opened her eyes and pushed Ken away. “Stupid what are you doing?” She yelled, She grabbed her purse and walked out, leaving the flowers behind.

They both arrived and got out of the car

They wore their Ice skates and headed out to the ice rink. The first step Ann took, she slipped on the ice and fell on her butt, they both started laughing, then Aj reached out his hand offering to help her up. They don’t even remember how many times they have fallen, but all the laughing feels just like when Ann still had her parents by her side. All of the sudden she heard someone called her name “Ann?!” She looked and saw Weet with his girlfriend holding hands. Ann lets go of Aj’s hand and smiled “Weet” She said as took another step and slipped. Both Weet and Kanya glide to help Ann.

Sarah: Ann!! Wake Up!! It’s a Monday!!

Ann woke up suddenly and groaned “Another Monday?” she rubbed her eyes and begin to remove her covers. She began with her usual routine and went downstairs.
Ann: Good Morning Auntie
Sarah: Good morning sweetie, you want some porridge before going to work?
Ann: Uh-- Sure.... Icanmakemyowncoffeethough. ( She said it out fast, made it sound like it was all one word)
Sarah: I knew you don’t like my coffee.

Ann hung up, pulled in the drive way, she took out all her stuff and went inside, there she saw her 2 Aunties eating fruits at the dining table. “Susan!!” She dropped her things on the couch and ran to her give her aunt a hug.

Ann:I miss you too! Oh.....Sarah...... I didn’t forget you

She gave Sarah a huge hug

Sarah: How’s work honey? Did she give you the job?

Ann went to the bathroom, she came out and went to the kitchen “ I’ll set the table”she said opening the cabinets. She grabbed 3 forks, Spoon, and plates, she brought it to the table and sat it it down. She helped bring the food to the table and sat down.

As they finished Ann cleaned the dishes, while her aunts took care of the table. When they all finished cleaning her Aunts called her to the living room for a meeting,they all took a seat and Susan told Ann what she shouldv’e known.

It was already 7: 45 Ann wanted to hurry before she was late, she didn’t want them to think she wasn’t a hard worker who was going to be late to everything. she quickly rushed in.

Ann: (Goes to counter) Excuse me, but Fah Thapeda booked an interview here for me.
Lady: Oh yes and what’s your name?

They both walk to the elevator and went up to the tenth floor. They went to the end of the hall way and the room on the right.

Ann read through it and thought about it, she not only, want to do it for her aunts but she wants to do it for her parents. She picked up the pen and signed the paper. Ken smiled evilly when she mentioned that.
Ann finally raised her voice. “ At least I know the proper way of making money.” and she walked away, both the lady and Ken was pissed off , hearing it from Ann.


Ken: that’s my assistant?!
Aj: Hold on ( He ran off to Ann)
Lady: Ah.. Ken did you hear that?! Ugh! what is wrong with AJ hiring a poor nasty woman like her?
Ken: Shut up! (He ran out of the room and chased after them)

He got closer and grabbed Ann by her arms! “ You have no right to say that to her.” Aj tried to make Ken let go of Ann’s arm. Ann tugged away “And she has no right to judge me!” Ken breathe out heavily “ Aj, if you’re going to hire someone to work for me, don’t just pick up any one from the street.” he looked at Ann angrily.

Ann: People who acts like you, ARE, from the streets
Ken: (raises his fist) How dare you?!

*The elevator finally opens and Aj grabbed Ann inside.* Ken was still pissed off “CRAZY!” The lady came out and held Ken. “ No worries Boon-Mee’s holding you” Ken pushed her off “ Go away! stupid!” she started whining again. Ken walked into the room angrily and slam the door on Boon-Mee. After being pissed off for 20 minutes he went and dress-up. He felt better while looking at himself in the mirror.It was time for him to go down and discuss about the newspaper. He got to the meeting room and saw Ann greeting Lawan, which turned down his mood again.

Ken: You! (goes and grab Ann)Get away from her.
Lawan: …........... What’s wrong?
Ken: What is she doing here?


Ann got mad and tugged away “What are you talking about?” she said innocently

Ken: Stop acting I know how you are....

Ken got even more mad “ ST-” he didn’t get to finish, Aj walked in

She walked out to the bathroom “What the hell is he thinking? 5 months of this?” She walked out and Ken was standing outside waiting for her. Ann kept walking but then Ken grabbed her, making her to fall onto him. She pushed away.

She walked away, right in time Aj opened the door and saw her. “Lawan told me to check on you.”

Weet was still at work, he wanted to go home, since its been 8 hours already, but he had 1 more hr. He stood by the

Ann mount there, she knew there was no point. Without warning her phone starts ringing, it was Weet on the other end, he wanted to have lunch with Ann and that he had good news.

Ken: Where are you going?
Ann: Its lunch time.
Ken: Oh, Yea.....I’ll go with you.
Ann: No. I didn’t invite you
Ken: Why can’t I go.
Ann: No it won’t look good

Finally Ken decided he didn’t want to go. Ann smiled and walked away quickly and met Weet at the door. She was so happy and gave him a hug.

They walked in to the car and went there. The restaurant was an open place, right by the street, it technically didn’t have a door, just a roof and poles to hold it up. Ann was really happy that she returned to the place ,where Weet and her met.
They ordered and the server came with their food.

Ann: What’s the good news?
Weet: Well.....
Ann: Well?
Weet: I think... I’m in …... love

Later on they kept eating and telling jokes, all of the sudden girls filled the restaurant. “Ahhh KEN THEERADETH!” The girls laughed and jumped everywhere. Ann turned around and there Ken was sitting two tables away. Ken looked at Ann and tried to smile.

Ken returned to the company with Ann, she was mad that Ken had to ruin her lunch. Ken felt sorry, but weird too, he didn’t know why. Ann walked around the room and then stared at Ken. “I’m sorry.” Ken said kindly. Ann looked away and back at him, she then realized his arm was cut. “What happened to your arm?” Ken looked at it and shrugged, she looked in to her purse ,took out some ointment and sat her purse down on the floor. She walked and sat by him, opening it.
Ken: Hey , What are you doing?
Ann: Putting this on.
Ken: I’m fine.
Ann: I have to take care of you, we have a big day on Saturday
Ken: -smiles- So you’re not mad?
Ann: Please DO NOT remind me of it........ Do you have a cloth?
Ken: Over there by the window is my shirt, you can use that.
She went and grabbed it, having him rip it up, Ken ripped it up, but that made his blood come gushing out. Ann wiped it gently. and used the other strip to wrapped it up.
Ken: Thanks..
Ann: -smiles-
Ann got up, she walked up and tripped on her purse, Ken pulled her onto him, she fell on to him and bumped her head to his. “Ouch..” the both said. Ann and Ken stopped and looked into each others eyes, their eyes were locked together. Ann didn’t know but she couldn’t move, Ken never felt anything like this, it was weird for him but he liked it...........“Ouch....” Ken whispered, Ann snapped out and got off him. She picked up her purse and walked out the door. “Stupid! I should’ve kept quiet” he said to himself. Ann walked to the elevator and scratched her head “What just happened?” Ken came out “Ann?”. Ann can hear his footsteps she felt awkward. The elevator opened, she ran in and closed the elevator. Ken got closer, but Ann already left, he sighed and went back to his room.

Ann arrives at the company, she felt sick to her stomach. She scurried into the company and saw the lady at the desk, looking pissed at her. She pressed the elevator button repeatedly the last person she wanted to see was Ken. The elevator door opened she walked in quickly, pressing the 8 button. She took a deep breath. “Were you running away from anyone?” She turned around, Ken was standing there smiling. “Aye KEN!”Ann screamed

Ken: Why are you so scared to see me?
Ann: Who’s scared?!
Ken: The lady who just screamed when she saw my face....
Ann: You just startled me..
Ken: ….. Did you think of me last night?
That question made Ann feel like she just got smacked in the face. The door opened and she walked out, Ken was urging to find out. She pulled Ann and pinned her to the wall.
Ann: What?!
Ken: Answer me!
Ann: Stupid! Why would I, I have no time to think about players
Ken: (Lets go) Right, you were probably too busy playing around with your boyfriend.
Ann: What boyfriend? And who’s playing around! I don’t like annoying people by me.
Ken: Stop kidding I know you like me …. you hired that guy to see if i would get jealous huh?
Ann: Oh my Gosh, you’re such an idiot
Ken: Did you ever noticed I love girls who plays hard to get


Ann dropped the conversation and kept walking to the meeting room. Ken dropped it too and chased after Ann. They went in the meeting room and greeted Lawan. Ken took a seat next to Ann, which made her feel even more annoyed
Lawan: Today we have to go and get Ann ready. You too Ken.

AJ: We have to arrive there at 7:00 am the press is coming at 8 o’clock
Ken: Are you ready?(Turns to Ann)

They went and arrived at the place, Ann felt sick, but Ken felt ready to get it on. Ann needed to get her make up done, so did Ken. They took Ann in, she was forced to wear a cute white dress, her hair was long and curled. Ann looked even more amazing. Everyone waited out for Ann to see how she would look like. Ken was getting impatient “Ugh What’s taking them so long” AJ shooked his head “You wanted her to look good, so you have to wait.”

Ann walked out slowly she felt very awkward, she felt as the dress was too short, Ken turned and saw Ann......... Speechless was all that can be described, sparkles in his eyes,his frown turned into a smile.Lawan looked at Ken smiling, AJ was very happy about it, he went up to Ann and complimented her “You look very beautiful.” she smiled “ Really?” Ken was annoyed at how AJ acted. “Ugh hurry it’s already 8:00 lets go!” He grabbed Ann’s arm and smiled “From now on be careful about hanging out with guys, you’re my girlfriend now, don’t make me loose face” Ann got annoyed but still kept smiling. “Your hand are so cold.... Don’t be scared I’m gonna be right next to you.” Ken said happily, “ That’s what scares me, you, being next to me.” she said weakly.


Ann and Ken walked out and saw the press, Ann wasn’t used to having so many cameras flashing at her, she could barely open her eyes.All the press was confused, they had no idea who Ann was.

Ken: Please Quiet down. I’ll answer every questions.
Press: Who is the woman next to you?
Ken: -smiles- She’s my girlfriend, Ann
Press:What?! Since when?
Ken: We met one day when I was visiting my friend Fah at her company.
Press: So everything in the news paper was all lies?
Ken: Yes, Cherry and I are just like siblings
Press: How did you react when you saw the scandal?
Ken: I thought it was ridiculous, that people can come up with such lies.


When Ann heard him say that she tried not to laugh. Obviously cause what he told them was all lies too.

After the conference was done and they returned to the company again. Ann felt so relieved, while she was walking alone to the elevator and met AJ on the way.
